Lisa May Moran DVM

Dr. Lisa May Moran, who practices professionally as Dr. May, is a returning Associate Veterinarian at Ashby Animal Clinic. A native of Broadway, Virginia, she earned her veterinary degree from Purdue University after completing her undergraduate studies at Virginia Tech.

Dr. May originally joined Ashby Animal Clinic in 1987 and practiced both large and small animal medicine. Now, she focuses on small animal care.

She lives in Rockingham County with her husband, Chris, and their three sons. Their animal family includes a Boston terrier named Pudge, a tabby cat named Ginger, and a variety of outdoor animals such as heifers, lambs, chickens, and geese—thanks to her sons’ many projects.
